When opening an interface (eg crafting menu) while the game is in fullscreen, the mouse is not placed at the center of the screen, but rather in the bottom left quadrant of the screen. What I expected to happen was...: What actually happened was...: Steps to Reproduce: |

@Uku, jonathan2520: I am simply stating that the current behaviour follows that of a bug (an inconsistent behaviour of sorts), and needs to be corrected. The proposition of changing said behaviour, regardless of the change, diverging from the original and apparent intended behaviour is considered that of a feature request, which is why I recommend putting it on the forums. I am not stating that this proposed fix is wrong/invalid, but rather this may not be the best place to bring attention to it. |

Hey, wow. Apparently LWJGL has had all the plumbing in place for a few years. Apply Uku's fix right nao! CubeTheThird: I think this is a bug for practical purposes. Its supposed status as feature of some sort is contested, at least. |

If you want to request that as a feature, I would recommend posting it on the MC forums here. |

I'd have to agree with jonathan2520 & adam giraudet. |

Bug is still present in 13w06a |

Issue is still apparent in the newest update, 13w04a, is present in 13w03a, as well as 13w02b for Environments Windows 8 x64, Java 7 Update 9, J Just so everyone is aware. If I wanted to fix it, I just had to maximize my window before going fullscreen. |

Issue still occurs in Update 1.4.7 Re-log is required to reset. Hopefully issue is addressed. |

ah sry I went from maximized into fullscreen not windowed into fullscreen. It appears into the 1st slot of the hotbar. Also all minecraft would have to do is recenter the pointer. This it what happens in the web version (it also causes that flickering mouse thing in the web version (maybe if it only recentered after fullscreening)) also I fail to see how this could REALLY effect how you play minecraft. Also remembering where the mouse was would be nice |

not fixed for Win7, Java 7 U 9 |

13w02b: Not fixed for 13w02b/OS X 10.6.8. Fullscreen just uses the would-be center of the last window size, which is fortunately pretty close if you maximized the window before going fullscreen. Wouldn't it be nice if Minecraft remembered the last pointer position? When doing a lot of inventory work it feels pretty awkward to have it reset to the same place every time, even if that place is the center. Better to place it where it was when I last closed an inventory (or menu or the like), I'd say. If I leave the pointer somewhere, I want it to stay there as in any other application. |

Issue still occurs in 1.4.6 release. It is cause by pushing F11 from a non-maximized window. Screen Resolution: 1920x1080 |

Can confirm on a monitor 1680 x 1050.

I am still getting this issue on 1.4.6 pre-release. I am using a 16:10 screen with a resolution of 1680x1050 if that helps. |

I have tested this and can confirm. If you use F11 to go fullscreen and then open the inventory, the mouse is not in the center where I expect it to be. It appears in the bottom left quadrant centered. |

Confirmed. When playing MC in a window, the mouse cursor defaults to the centre. When playing MC fullscreen, the size of the window in windowed mode is used to determine where the cursor is placed. So if you make your MC window really small, then switch to fullscreen and open your inventory, the cursor will be right down the bottom left. |
