This hasn't been "resolved" for me. I have never played Minecraft before and as you can see in the picture and I am met with the same disappointing message. I have tried to open the launcher many times and it never woks. I am playing the Java Edition Demo mode because I do not have the original version of Minecraft.

I am unsure as to how this is a duplicate as my error message is different from the others. I have also attempted to download the entire file system for minecraft two times and I continue to get this crash. Please help to resolve this.
