 Description

Repeater's delay depends on my processor frequency. I toggle it by "PhenomMsrTweaker" during the game.

No answer, assuming no longer an issue.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.6.2 / Launcher version 1.1.2 ? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

All settings, but with different frequency of flickering.

I updated driver and bugs disappeared, however it can occur again

You mean Options -> Video Settings -> Performance ?
Which setting (Max FPS / Balanced / Power Saver) shows what behaviour ?

You might try to update your graphics drivers, you have version 11762 (unknown which Catalyst version), current is 12002 (Catalyst 13.1 : http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx )

Oh, NO ! I have flickering and redstone anomaly in new world again !
They appeared simultaneously. I think it caused by sudden reboot of my computer due to loss of power.
And it depends on "perfomance" option of minecraft.

No, flickering doesn't depend on CPU frequency or tool.

I spent some time to invent new algorithm for elevator and I'm sorry that I waste time due to bugs. But in new world all works perfectly and I haven't got any troubles.

Does the flickering only occur if you switch processor frequency ?
With other words, if you start Minecraft without any CPU freq changing tool running ?

Regarding the changing repeater delay:
That doesn't look like a minecraft bug (thus invalid here), because Minecraft / Java / LWJGL will calculate idle loops when starting and does take in account that the user will deliberately change CPU frequency.
BTW: Why did you do that ? Just as a proof of concept ?

No flickering.

I can't reproduce this bug in new world. Where is no flickering or redstone anomalies.
I added my save.

I use Phenom 2 x4 processor and toogle frequency by "PhenomMsrTweaker" manually or automatically.

Can it be connected with RamDisk or SSD disk ? I have Minecraft installed on RamDisk to accelerate it.

Dependancy between the repeater delay and the flickering items ?

Can you attach a zip of your world here (or create a new world which shows the issue) ?
Maybe people of MC-11033 may test if there is a coincidence between the two issues.

But another question: Why does your CPU change frequency ? What CPU do you have (attach a screenshot of CPUID http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html ) ?

Better quality (13 mbytes):

Yes, there is flickering item icon too

I didn't expect that the issue would vanish with the update of Java, that was just a general hint.
But as I could see in the clip that you have the flickering hotbar numbers as described in MC-11033 ?

Comment by AndrewAlgin [ 08/Mar/13 ]

I updated Java, but nothing changed. I attached a video, it's very bad quality.

Comment by Kumasasa [ 08/Mar/13 ]

Nothing to see in the crash report, except that your Java is outdated. Current version is 1.7 Update 17.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while ingame and attach the crash report here.
