The bug

In creative mode, dragging and dropping an item on any border/tab of the inventory drops the item on the ground, rather than preventing the click.

Is this still an issue on the latest snapshot 16w44a?

Man, how come this isn't fixed yet? Not very major but sure is annoying.

Reopened, thanks

Some pictures on how to reproduce the steps.

Please reopen this issue, as this still affects Minecraft 1.8 and Minecraft 1.8.1 Prerelease 3.

Comment by Galaxy_2Alex [ 25/Oct/14 ]

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.8.1 Prerelease 3 / Launcher version 1.5.3 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Still in 1.5.1
