Shulkers can also see invisible players in some conditions, you should add them in the list. See |

still in 1.11 Pre-Release 1 Tested in survival with no armor AI behavior the same with or with out invisibility potion (ie potion has no affect): Guardian, Elder Guardian, Blaze, Ghast, Wither, Rabbit, Ocelot Did not test with all hostile/neutral mobs, but those I did worked until hit with the exception of Magna Cub/Slime - they seemed to still not see me. |

still in 16w43a - confirmed for rabbits, ocelots, guardians (both). Zombies and Zombie Pigmen do so only if provoked (hit). |

Still happening in 1.9-pre2. |

Still happening in 15w47a. Drank an invisibility potion, went into survival, punch one zombie in a group and others started going after me. |

Still in 1.8.3 and 1.8.4 - Apparently |

This report seems to be about 2 separate bugs. One is that some mobs can simply see you when you are invisible, the other is the (probably intended) one that social mobs communicate your location when hit. These should probably be split into 2 separate reports. |

Confirmed for 1.8.2-pre6, but it is probably intended that Zombies and Zombie Pigmen communicate your location to others of their own kind. Hitting any mob reveals your location to that specific mob, and it makes sense that social mobs would share that information. |

Confirmed for rabbits, ocelots, zombies, and zombie pigmen in 1.8.2 pre-3. (Although I think the pigmen one is intended.) Seems to have been fixed for guardians though. Also, it would be nice if there were a list of mobs that this occurred for. And could someone please fix the title? |

Did you alert them of your presence before you became invisible? |
| Comment by Victor Clements [ 06/Mar/13 ] |
|
No, I'm not wearing armour but the problem is I'm making a zombie survival map with certain classes that recieve the invisibility effect under a specific amount of health, which makes this bug extremely annoying. and If the zombies can "sense and spell you" why don't they do that before you hit them? this bug is specific to zombies and zombie pigmen and their "gang attack" AI so I think it doesn't have much to do with the invisibility not being as invisible as thought. |
| Comment by Danny Redmond [ 06/Mar/13 ] |
|
to be honest since they are zombies they can sense you and spell you, so invisibility isn't meant to work not realy much of a problem use a bow and arrow or something |
| Comment by George Gates [ 04/Mar/13 ] |
|
Are you wearing any armor? You need to be naked for invisibility to make you fully invisible (the wiki says this). |

This could be related to However, I would also point to wiki http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Invisibility, which explains that invisibility isn't quite as full invisibility as might be thought. |
