Resolving since not a Minecraft issue.

This happened to me in the 1.5 pre-release on the default texture pack...
All the paintings are invisible and cannot be broken until you break the block where u put the painting on.
If i relog on the server (local server gigabit connection) It will show the paintings, but removing is laggy.

Windows 7 x64: unmodded minecraft

@Meta ???? The crash report tells Java 7U10, current version is 7U15 . 15 - 10 = 5.

@Kumasasa: But you know what Java 1.7 is?

Did you try to update your graphics drivers ?

OpenGL: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series GL version 2.1.8545 Release, ATI Technologies Inc.

OpenGL 2.1 is way outdated.

And your Java is also 5 versions behind...
