way to reproduce:
1: do "/give (your username) 52 1 22"
2: place the monsterspawner.
1: try placing a firework rocket spawner with MCedit
2: open your world in minecraft.
3: experience a fun-spoiling crash.

luckily, this seems to be fixed in 1.5.1! yay!!!

Tested on vanilla minecraft (without any mods):
the only change was that placing the spawner would not let it be a firework rocket spawner, but just a pig spawner.
then i tried to place it with mcedit, and then i got the same result as with the mods.

the conclusion: too many items mod made me able to place the spawner ingame, while the other mods did not affect it at all!)
