I was messing around with stacked entities, when I tried to create a spawner that spawned one long tower of creepers in the middle of an arena. The spawner worked, but even before I went near the spawner, this tower of creepers was already there. You can't place blocks where it is, it can be pushed by pistons, it doesn't react to you or move AT ALL, the top creeper kept flickering, AND MC edit doesn't even detect it as an entity. Re-logging doesn't work, and the only way to get rid of it is to destroy the spawner, THEN re-log. I have NO idea why this happens, but it's not right. P.S. If the location isn't set, this doesn't happen, which is really strange |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.8.1 Prerelease 3 / Launcher version 1.5.3 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

Confirmed. The weird mob will fall by gravity and can be moved with pistons. I'm not sure whether the reason it disappears upon reload is because its position isn't saved or a new mob is spawned and the first is removed. |

Can confirm too in 1.5 prerelease, even spawns the nonreactive hostile mobs when in peaceful mode |

It happened to me when I was trying to make a creeper with an ocelot riding to make the creeper run around like crazy (like it's afraid of everything [even air). The ocelot also disappeared completely when I paused the game. The ocelot didn't flicker when I was looking directly at it. I was using snapshot 13w09b, I didn't see a fix in the changelog for 13w09c. The mob stack was still there when I reloaded the world (saved and went back in), and even when I completely closed the game and went back in. |
