 Description

(this happens both in survival and creative mode)

When sand turns into falling sand (when I place it 2 blocks or higher and then it falls) the faces get black for a small time (less than a second).

It is bug, and sometimes the faces get black for more than a second. So yeah, might wanna get that fixed.

@Michael: My PC: Intel Core2Quad 3 Ghz, 6 GB RAM, Radeon 6700 (driver 12.10), Win7-64, Java 7U9 . You call that "low-spec" ?
@John: But it's not worth to record, since the setup to reproduce is trivial.

Ok! I didn't know it was the Graphic Cards fault! Geez...

Kumasasa you might be able to get it into a picture by recording the bug, and then taking a screenshot when the video is playing

There is also a little z-fighting observable, but cannot capture that on screenshot (but the setup is trivial, that's easy to reproduce)

Just because its the graphics cards fault doesn't mean it isn't a bug, it just means it probably wont get fixed.

Comment by Michael [ 01/Nov/12 ]

Not a bug, only happens with low-spec pcs and laptops. This is a graphic software bug, refer to your graphics card manufacturer.
