Using 13w07a, this happens to animals and villagers non-stop. Usually due to having multiple animals/villagers bumping each other, they eventually ignore blocks and enter them. If glass they will go all the way in or even pass through (and can then run around my base until caught), if anything other than glass they quickly suffocate and die. When standing on a slab, even when alone, very easy for say a chicken to fall through the slab and remain there, without bumping into another mob to cause it. |

This happens in 13w07a SSP. In previous snapshots i've seen the animal suffocate and die, though several minutes of watching the animal pens in the latest showed the animal popping back out of the blocks after a while. Don't know if the suffocation has been fixed, or if my pens are just not as crowded. |

All of them right up to 13w02b. I remember first reporting it back on the wiki months ago. |

In which version are you experience this bug? |

I still see it regularly (on Mac OS). Reopen? Or shall I log an OS-specific bug? |

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. |

Happened to me too. My cows temporarily escaped because they glitched through a wall. |

Yeap, happens with all my animals AND also some enemies when they are in packs. Also happens with villagers. As a side note, sometimes they also "fall" one block, and move inside the ground as if that block didn't exist, except they don't take damage. Happens a lot with me (mostly in my sheep farm or with villagers). Just a visual glitch, but annoying. |
