 Description

So I just generated a new world, spawned on a beach and set off to collect wood. What i found was so messed up. I saw some trees spawned ABOVE a LAKE?!?!?! This is an issue here.

The number used to generate the world was 3362670731809701917 and the co-ordinates where the glitch is are x: -230, y: 70, z: 265.

Please fix this glitch soon as I prefer the world generated NORMALLY, if you dont mind. Hope I helped!

@Jack: That was a rhetorical question...

@Kumasasa No, but I did notice it a few minutes AFTER i commented.

Comment by Anon Ymus [ 24/Feb/13 ]

I can now confirm. And yeah, it's a duplicate of MC-610 because there is also floating grass. Thanks Markku.

@Jack Haywood

...What snapshot are you people using?

You didn't even look at Anon Ymus' and my screenshot, did you ?

Ah. Just few steps from spawn.
An interesting case of MC-610, having two floating trees and some floating grass over the same lake, and part of the lake "cavity" generation apparently hits high enough level that it lacks water. But indeed a duplicate of that other issue.

Oh, I got the x co-ordinate wrong. its MINUS 230. Soz.

By the Way, I attached a crash report on this page so you can see whats wrong.

The reason it might be in the ocean was the glitch is in 13w06a. What snapshot are you people using?

Comment by Markku [ 23/Feb/13 ]

Actually, this is a duplicate, leading to issue MC-610. The magic word is the "lake" (and usually "floating", too).

Comment by Kumasasa [ 23/Feb/13 ]

Cannot reproduce either.
Same result as Anon Ymus.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while ingame and attach the crash report here.

Used that seed and the coordinates provided and was in an ocean.
