 Description

Put the summary of the bug you're having here

>>>I was being stupid and didn't read the wiki first <<<

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected for the items dropped on top of the hoppers were going to go inside of the hopper that is connected to a Redstone torch.
Hoppers also don't detect when chests are placed on top of them when connected to a Redstone Torch.

What actually happened was...:
When I dropped an item onto the hopper, it started bouncing around and not going in.
When I put a chest on the hopper, it didn't detect the chest

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put a Redstone Torch down next to a Hopper
2. Drop an item on the hopper or put a chest on the hopper with an item in it.
3. See what happens
