Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed

 Description

I have a cron job that periodically tries to kick any players in my own "ban list".Β

If a banned player is not currently online when the cron job fires a syntax error is displayed.

Not really a problem since it doesn't seem to effect the operation of the server, but an annoyance, and maybe and indicator of a hidden problem?

For example...

kick SomePlayer12345 you have been banned

results in this...

No targets matched selector
Could not find player SomePlayer12345
Syntax error: Unexpected "%2$s": at "%1$s>>%2$s<<%3$s"

A very similar bug has been entered for MCPE hereΒ MCPE-86156

I had this same problem.Β Β Β  We had to delete the player's datafile with MCCToolchest, and then he could reconnect.Β  Obviously lost all of his stuff.Β
