Hi. I noticed that mobs and other players were disappearing from my view too close to me, and after some research it seemed to be related to "simulation distance" (tick-distance setting). So I doubled it from 4 to 8 and restarted the server, but players kept fading out after the same distance. Could I be doing something wrong or was it really supposed to work? Thanks |

Hi Leandro, Tick distance is the distance at which redstone ticks, crops grow etc. The rendering of entities is seperate and is not configurable. Hope that helps. Ionic |
