 Description

Hello, I have a problem on minecraft ps4, I can launch my world without the "urban" texture pack but as soon as I activate it by coming back to the menu, when I will restart my world (with the texture pack activated ), my world will not launch, the screen will turn purple and my game will close, how do I fix this?

I found this from a similar report that may help you.

Unfortunately we're unable to provide support here in the bug tracker. If you need further assistance please try the Community Support who may be able to help narrow down the problem.

According to support this problem is due to a bad download.

Quote: β€œThe black and pink means the game can’t find that texture. Unfortunately if the user has a bad internet connection, it may take multiple tries of downloading the pack before the user gets a download that works because the file size is so big.
If the user has ADSL, it could take 20 or more tries, unfortunately. Downloading on those lines is particularly bad for games, speaking from experience.β€œ

The solution is to delete the texture pack from your storage (under settings) and then redownload it from the store.

Please launch the Minecraft app and try this:

  1. Go to settings
  2. Go to Storage
  3. Select Resource Packs
  4. Select the affected pack -> then press the trash can
  5. Redownload the affected pack from the Marketplace
