 Description

Mob in this case is a natural spawn chicken (picture 1), but when player walk away (picture2) they disappear (picture 3), i thought its because they are just out of my view so i went back, and they are still gone (picture 4)

This sounds like natural mob despawning with 1.16. Unless you've interacted with the mob (such as breeding it) it will not be persistent and will despawn when you move away.

Antony is right in that this is intended.

However, as this has been raised under the wrong project it will be closed off as invalid. This project is for the Bedrock Dedicated Server software only.

I understand. However, that's a key way to keep your world running smoothly. If every mob I load, while traveling 50,000+ blocks away from my base, did not despawn, you'll fill the mob cap consistently and no new mobs can spawn in. The game doesn't program what specific pig & cow should or should not stay; thus, ALL mobs should despawn (unless previously interacted). Just my opinion ^^

No, its just that the game don’t save the mobs, for example, i traped a pig far 100 blocks away from home, but I don’t have carrot, so if i have to leave to get carrot, they will despawn “immediately” After it has gone out of reach for about 50 block, but i also has no way to interact with the pig, hitting doesn’t work, so i am forced to leave and find another pig to breed...

Is this not supposed to happen? I feel like its part of the mob despawning changes; or, I mean, the mob should despawn unless the player interacted with it (ie. feeding them so the game knows they're part of a player's farm. If these natural mobs never despawned, there would be countless cows, chickens, sheep, etc. hanging out while taking up the mob cap. https://youtu.be/tF76xuLtmRY
