Server is running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Since release 2 days ago unable to connect to server Validated that server is running by checking netstat and see it listening on UDP 19132 Unable to connect on same LAN with UFW disabled Unable to telnet to localhost with port 19132 as seen in other suggested tests to validate server answers
Remediation steps taken: UFW disabled, Wireguard disabled, reinstalled server and placed world in directory with fresh server.properties

There was no new release for Linux 2 days ago. The 1.16.10.02 version released for Windows only. We're tracking that under As such your issue is unlikely to be related to an update. I've not been able to replicate this on my Linux test instance. Be careful using telnet to test your BDS instance as it can cause the server process to crash without reflecting so in the console. So it appears your BDS server is running when it has in fact crashed. |
