I have Minecraft Windows 10 Edition on two different computers using two different Microsoft accounts.Β For the last few months, both accounts could connect to my friends world over the Internet from either computer but last week "Account 1" was disconnected during game play and could not reconnect from either computer. "Account 2" could still connect from either computer. My friend created a new world and "Account 1" was able to connect for some time before being disconnected again and unable to reconnect while "Account 2" was not affected. When "Account 1" tries to connect, it gets stuck at the Generating World/Locating Server screen but it does show connected to my friends world when doing /list and will show disconnecting when I get the unable to connect message or if I click cancel. Both accounts can connect to the same LAN world and can connect to public realms from either computer.Β The online privacy settings for both accounts are completely identical. All versions are Windows 10 Edition 1.16.1. I have restarted both computers and my router, uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, changed the gamer tag of "Account 1", both my friend and I removed each other from friends and re-invited. I have spent the last two days researching this and trying multiple troubleshooting tips with no success. Please help, thanks. |
