Whilst playing on the Hive Server for Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Nintendo Switch by myself, I have found myself in games with completely different versions. Now what I am saying is that because I play on Nintendo Switch, someone on Windows 10 can easily beat me because of it being easier to play. However, whilst playing in no parties and no other versions, I have found myself in lobbies with completely different versions, mostly Windows 10, which then makes it impossible to win. So my suggestion is that whilst playing SOLO gamemodes, for instance on Hive SOLO SkyWars, it should be only the console you play on. Yet when you join a party it should be the most used platform on that party, or if a party of 2 of different consoles, the easier to use console, for instance if I am in a party with a Windows 10 player, then we should face Windows 10 players, and when I am by myself or with a friend on Nintendo Switch, I should face Nintendo Switch players only. The reason I am sending this is because I used to be on the Hive Leaderboards for SkyWars, but am no longer due to the insane rates of Windows 10 players I am coming into. Please consider this and try and make the cross-platform only for parties and not for solo players. If you are solo but play Duos, it should still try to pair me with a Switch player, but if it cannot, then again it should be the person on a easier platform, who the opponents of which are playing on. I feel like this is a very drastic problem for players who try and take it seriously on "less powerful platforms".

Thank you for your report! Unfortunately we don't accept issues related to External Servers here on the bug tracker, but please add more details if you think this also affects multiplayer over Realms, LAN, or XBL. I'd suggest contacting the server owner directly or seeking help on the Minecraft forums. Quick Links: |
