While playing Minecraft on the PlayStation 4, players do not have the ability to pause the game. While you can bring up the menu that contains "Resume Game," "Settings," "Feedback" and "Save & Quit," the game does not actually pause at this time. Mobs continue to move freely and you can be damaged from hostile mobs, even with this menu pulled up. This is a very basic feature that is in every other single player game. It should be in Minecraft. |
