5 blocks above my players head, i placed a Glass Block and 9 Snow Layers on top of that Glass Block. Then i removed the glass block, pleased to see that the newly created snow block (with a layer on top) didnt fall, BUT i also noticed that light was able to come through it (like a transparent block), while snow particles fell through the block as well (simular to placing a Snow Layer on a block of Leaves).
However if you were to craft a Snow Block using snow balls, that block would not be transpaernt and no snow particles will go through.
Is this a bug or is this intended? I would imagine its a bug eventhough i dont want it to be one because its really a useful feature. Thing is, i dont want to spend a year making buildings using the feature, only to have it be bug that gets fixed, ruining all of my builds. |
