Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed

 Description

The problem occurs when trying to join a friends world. Sometimes there is no issue but other times it is impossible for one or MORE friends to join a host friend's world. We was hoping this would be patched in the latest update on PS4. At the moment all we can do is reload the world but even that does not always work. This issue is definitely not a connection issue as we have tested it with many people at many different times. When we eventually spawn (if we are lucky) there is no lag or frame rate drop and so is an example of why this is not a connection problem but a bug in the system. It would be great if this could be resolved and we could continue playing.

Are you using Wifi, or a direct connect cable?

Here is why I ask. My internet is 330 Mbps and on Wifi, that will drop to 25 Mbps, and if I VPN on Wifi, that will drop to 11 Mbps. But if I use a hardline cat-5 or Cat-6 which is better, I can get 330-350 Mbs on the front end, giving me the best possible  speed advantage. With the Covid out there, the internet is trying to keep up, but can't always. So this makes me think if you are Wifi using a VPN, which is how one connects to a gaming server in most cases, then I would look at getting a Network cable and go that route.
