 Description

When I setup a server, I let it through the firewall, I port forward through my router, then I launch it.  It starts fine.   I run the Windows 10 edition Minecraft, go to  servers, add the correct information to it and save.   I let it load for a moment, then it shows under more servers.    I then try to connect to it, it connects.   Once I save and exit, neither I or anyone else can get into that server, though it shows as connected and green in the servers list.  It gets the connection timeout error.    Ideas?

In the screenshot you've showed the server console is in "Select" mode (you can tell by the "Select" in the title bar).

This is a Windows console feature that pauses the console application to allow you to copy lines without it scrolling on you and is likely the cause of your issue.

You can turn off select mode entirely by right clicking in the title bar and select "Properties". On the resulting page untick "Quick Edit mode".

If after unticking the check box you are still in select mode, press one of the arrow keys which should take you out of it. Then try again and see if your issue persists.

Reset it to that, then relaunched.   Still gives the same.  First one can connect, then once they leave, no one else including themselves can reconnect without turning the server off for a few minutes, then start again.

As well I see it do    "running autocompaction"  with no completed or succeeded prompt after that after a few minutes, don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Why are you modifying the default ports to Java editions ports?

I would suggest starting with the default ports and seeing if the issue persists. If it does, check that your PC is sync'ing with a time server as there have been issues caused by out of sync time clients.
