Windows 10, BDS version 1.14.32.1

 Description

On the newest version of BDS villagers under any requirements wont sleep. I give them a house bed and composure. This is no-where near a village or anymore beds/workstations. I used the world on a normal client (win 10) and they got in bed fineΒ

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.

Setting to awaiting response pending testing in 1.16.

Changes to this report will automagically reopen it.

This issue was likely caused by a known issue in 1.14 which could cause villagers to relink to new locations when villager chunks were unloaded by using a portal or logging off with them loaded.

This issue should have been resolved in 1.16, but the villagers may need to be relinked to the correct beds to allow them to sleep. They may also need to be relinked to their workstations if they have changed their links to those also.

To test the linking you can break the bed and re-place it. You will see green sparkles on the villager that links to it, Using this and a small bit of time you can break all beds, and replace them in the appropriate reachable locations for your villagers if they are not reachable in the current positions.

The same (v1.14.60)

Hi guys,

Thanks so much for the report.

I don't see this behaviour on my BDS but that may be due to the twice daily restarts I do on the BDS instance (for backups because live backups are currently broken). If this is happening with a longer running time is it associated with a corresponding increase in resource utilisation or anything?

Came across the same problem too.

This kind of problems often happen when the server has been worked for a while. So restarting the server can solve the problem temporarily.
