Sorry, I forgot this thing but I still had this problem after trying with debian 9 so I changed my servers to java edition. Maybe it is my vm provider's os problem but it is weird that I successfully start the servers with no problem.

I've not heard back from you in a while.

In order to keep the Bedrock Dedicated Server project running smoothly I'm going to request this issue be closed as Awaiting Response.

Never fear though! If this is still affecting you in the latest version (and is related to Bedrock Dedicated Server and not the Minecraft Bedrock game) all you have to do is comment and it will reopen.

If your issue does still exist but is related to the game and not the server software please head over to the Minecraft (Bedrock codebase) project.

Hi Eric,

I've just built a new Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS install and run the BDS software this morning and it worked flawlessly meaning the issue has to be environmental. That doesn't mean I'm saying its not a bug, but its not a bug that affects a normal system so you need to provide more information about your setup if we're to have any chance of getting to the bottom of the issue.

I didnt touch any file, I just usedΒ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./bedrock_serverΒ to boot the server. My vm has full internet access and has a ipv4 on it. And I have changed the dns to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 .

Hi Eric,

That still points to a localised issue. I just built one myself and it works fine so understanding what about your setup is non-standard is the most important piece. Are you customising the Server.properties file at all? Does your VM/Device have full internet access? Do you have anything like a dns black hole or anything on your network etc.

Thank you for replying me. After the this happened, I have reinstalled the ubuntu 18.04 tls and the same thing appeared.

Hi Eric,

I'm not able to reproduce this. Have you checked your server.properties is correct etc. This is more likely environmental than bug related.
