PlayStation4 version 2.03

 Description

I recently hooked up my PlayStation4 Minecraft up with my Xbox/Microsoft account so I could play with my boyfriend since he has an Xbox. It was working for over a week just great, and then one night I went onto Minecraft, and it wouldn’t automatically sign in. I tried to be the smart teenager I am with tech and try and sign in manually, but it won’t allow me to do that either. On the bottom left side of the home screen thingy that you can press “Sign in with a Microsoft account’ button when I click on it says “failed to log you in. We tried to log you in to your Microsoft account but something went wrong” I tried to sign in from “settings” and it just keeps telling me the same thing. I’ve been playing Minecraft for years and was really excited that I could finally cross play. Please help me fix this.

Thank you for your report!
However, this issue is Invalid.

This is related to a different project. Use one of the links below to go to the correct project.
Minecraft: Java Edition — Windows, Mac, and Linux
Minecraft Launcher — bugs about the Minecraft Launcher specifically
Minecraft: Bedrock Edition — Gear VR, iOS, Android, Windows 10 (from the Windows store), Xbox One, Windows 10 Mobile, Fire TV, Nintendo Switch, and PS4
Minecraft: Earth — AR Compatible Devices

Please don't forget to search for an existing issue matching yours in the appropriate project before raising a new one.

You may also find our amazing community can help you on the official Minecraft discord server as there's a good chance this is a technical issue rather than a bug. From personal experience (in case it helps) I find that when this happens to me its usually caused by the "standby" state modern consoles put games into, so closing the game completely (I believe for PS4 this means going back to the homescreen and pressing the option button over the game tile) can usually help.

Good luck and happy Minecrafting!
