 Description

Hello,
I need to be able to get the motd of some servers as well as playercount.

However I can't seem to be able to query the server. Gamespy doesnt work, query doesnt work... Is there documentation somewhere about how to accuratly query the server?

Or this this not implemented yet/broken?

I've not heard back from you in a while.

In order to keep the Bedrock Dedicated Server project running smoothly I'm going to request this issue be closed as Awaiting Response.

Never fear though! If this is still affecting you in the latest version (and is related to Bedrock Dedicated Server and not the Minecraft Bedrock game) all you have to do is comment and it will reopen.

If your issue does still exist but is related to the game and not the server software please head over to the Minecraft (Bedrock codebase) project.

Hi Lennart,

Is this still an issue for you?

Ok, so far I ran wireshark and caught a few requests from Minecraft.

My questions now are:

client.guid: What is this exactly? Is that an unique ID to my installation of Minecraft? Is it bound to my Account? Can I just use the one sent by my pc in a query script?

offline_message.data_id: This did not change over all my pings, what does it contain and can I just use it again every time?

timestamp: can I just send a timestamp of 1 each time? Is this the local pc time?
