creating a server and being cabled doesn't seem to work. Only wifi works. |

Ok, so I don't know if this is related to mc bedrock server or simply that im bad at making the server fonction... But my issue is simple , I portfowarded... everything works fine with the portfowarding part and even when i didnt portfoward it. I gave my friend the port (default) and my public IP and everything works fine but that.... ONLY When me (hosting the server) in NON Cabled, so using WIFI ... When i cable my computer my friend can't access it. I'v looked at all my firewall settings and nothing should be wrong. The public Ip stays the same. What is my issue?! |

Your wifi and ethernet have two different MACs so your LAN IP is changing when you switch between them. When you use the ethernet cable your router is still forwarding the incoming traffic to the wifi address. So you can either only use wifi or change your port forward every time you switch. |

I shall look into it, It's just weird that it works non cabled, but as soon as i'm cabled i have to go through that. Thanks for responding |

Have you tried using something like https://freedns.afraid.org/ to forward your public IP? Also, make sure that your IP is static. It seems like you have created a static IP on Ethernet but not on your WiFi card. |
