 Description

When logging in from any platform on any of the newest versions (1.19.0 - 1.19.40) we experience query.scoreboard issue: it doesn't load and outputs the error ("Unrecognized token: query.scoreboard('something')" or "Unrecognized token: q.scoreboard('something')") to the content log and the animations using it get broken.

Usually, the bug happens after the first join when the player downloads the resource pack. It can happen randomly when the resource pack is already downloaded and cached by the client. The bug fixes itself if the player relogs with the cached resource pack.

This bug happens for both "q.scoreboard" and "query.scoreboard" tokens.

Attached two videos of the bug, first video is the demonstration of the bug and the second one demonstrates the fix after relog.

Attached screenshots of the expected vanilla behaviour.

Also attached the test resource pack to reproduce the bug. Zip, mcpack and set up world zip that you can put in the BDS to test.

Community heavily relies on this feature to create advanced in-game experiences, thus we hope this issue gets much deserved attention. Thanks!

Hi

Does this issue still occur after updating to 1.20.1?

This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.

I'm experiencing the same issue with query.block_neighbor_has_any_tag after updating to 1.20 but it works fine on a singleplayer world.

@Weszaj_WAW,

As far as we tested, it happens only on BDS and third-party servers. We did test it in the singleplayer world and couldn't reproduce the bug. Maybe it's something related to the network packet timings.

Resolving temporarily as Awaiting Response. Is this an issue only in BDS or does it also occur in singleplayer worlds?
