 Description

Unable to make a crafting table despite having the wood to do so in my inventory, i tried making one with a crafting table as well, still does not work. Had multiple players test this on our bedrock server, nobody was able to make a crafting table.

EDIT: After further inspection we found that multiple wood crafted items were bugged. they are all either limited to a specific wood type or entirely uncraftable.

To @v-weszaj

The PS4 platform I checked did not experience the same phenomenon in single player worlds.
I'm guessing that it probably only happens on dedicated servers.

We may have to wait for information on other platforms.

Resolving temporarily as Awaiting Response. Does this issue occur in regular, singleplayer worlds, or only on dedicated servers?

Thank you, Ogutaro!

I usually update by copying the new .exe and .pdb files over to my old folder. Usually not a problem, but this time it was.

This time I did it the longer way by copying my "worlds" folder from the old folder to the new one, along with the allowlist and permissions. Then I opened the old and new server.properties and copied info over manually.

Restarted with a new world and all is fixed!

I solved.

Apparently it seems to occur when only the .exe file is overwritten at the time of update.
After downloading the new version of the server, I solved it by migrating in such a way that only user-specific data was applied to the new server.

I hope it will be useful information for you.

Sorry for my poor English.

When I created a new world with Ver. 1.19.40, I was able to craft a stick from a planks.

However, when I run Ver.1.19.40 on a world I created in a previous version, I cannot craft a stick from a planks.

Same thing happened to me.
I really hope for a solution.

I'm Japanese. sorry if my words are weird.

Many of the wood types seem to have been removed as an ingredient option in several crafting recipes. Sticks for example, appear to only be craftable using bamboo.

Apparantly you can use nether wood ? Not that is ok but it is a way to get around it
