 Description

Minecraft bedrock server always crashes after everybody disconnects from the game. I can still start the server and players are able to join. But as soon as we all disconnect, the server crashes. I have just updated the server to 1.19.20, it has never crashed like this in the past. My world(about 160MB) has a lot of entities and blocks, with two custom resource packs(for changing the paintings and music discs) and experimental gameplay(custom biomes and spectator mode). I don't know if my world leads to the problem, but it's fine on previous versions(1.18-1.19.10). The CPU and RAM usage is also normal. The crash log from Windows Event viewer is in the attachment, and I can provide the world file if needed.

The world file is here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RdHAca0uAaLnLQJSvlq7OyGd7wBiSU2Q/view?usp=sharing

The server does not have any errors in the command prompt. The Windows error reporting will show up as soon as the server crashed

I have also updated the to the latest version, but it seems like the problem still exists.

Hi

Can you please attach world? If it exceeds file size limit you can use OneDrive or similar file hosting service and share link.

Does server command prompt display any errors while issue occurs? If so can you please attach screenshot of it?

Yes. I have tried disabling the resource packs but the problem still persists. The world can be opened and played normally so I assume that it’s a server side problem.

Hi

Have you tried reproducing this issue without resource packs active?

I did make a few changes to the server.properties file(world name, seed .etc), it's included in the attachment. The world file is too big so I will put the google drive link here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RdHAca0uAaLnLQJSvlq7OyGd7wBiSU2Q/view?usp=sharing

The resource packs are in the resource_packs folder in the world.zip file.

I've tried this world on a linux server(running Debian 11) and my laptop(Windows 10 Home 21H1) and the problem still exists on both of these.

HiΒ

Were there any changes to server.properties? Can you please attach your world and resources youre using? Have you tried redownloading Bedrock Dedicated Server?Β

This ticket will auitomatically reopen when you reply.Β

It can occur as soon as the server is empty. Even one player can crash the whole server by joining and leaving the empty server without interacting with anything in it. The server is for a simple survival world and there are 4 players maximum.

Hi

How many players need to disconnect for it to occur?Β
