 Description

[Problem]

UDP/TCP Port 19132 for IPv4 not listening when bedrock_server.exe is running

[Goal]
To allow my Bedrock Server to allow Outside of My Network Connections

[Troubleshooting]

confirmed that my firewall is forwarding this port properly
confirmed that the port 19132 when used with another type of server (Apache HTTPd), can display as OPEN.
and just to prove i'm not crazy about the open port; some friends of mine was able to access the Apache Server on port 19132 from the outside, screenshots attached. (IP Address redacted; but host name visible)

and No; I do not run Apache HTTPd & Bedrock Dedicated Server at the same time; I only used Apache HTTPd as a "test" to see if I can access the port remotely (in which i can).

also I've attempted to run Bedrock Dedicated Server with another port number (Prior to testing BDS's Default IPv4 Port with Apache HTTPd) and that does not detect as open either.

been running from 1.18.31 to current (1.19.63)

all other Issue tickets have been closed without resolution. Please Help!

At this time; this is still an issue and I'm not the only one with the same issue... people have not gone through the same troubleshooting as I have.

if there is a Minecraft Client Update... I will have to test and report back.

@thewi2kbug, have you been able to resolve this? I'm seeing a similar issue.

additional confirmation: I have a server running at a third-party location and I also cannot connect with that either.

Still with latest and previous revisions of BDS; this is still an issue.

The Following Screenshots are from a remote network outside my home; yet a site-to-site VPN is established.

Remote is setup to use my Home's Public IP Address (WAN)
Local is setup to use my Home's Local IP Address (LAN) over Site-To-Site VPN
Note: the remote site and the main (Home) site use different IP Address Pools.

When I try these options I get this:

additionally; the Friends Tab shows this:

... and yes; I am able to access the world:

Hope the Visual Aides Help in trying to put this issue to Bed(Rock)

Then riddle me this @omarkberrow : how could port forwarding settings be an issue if the port (in this case: 19132) could work with a different server software (in this case: Apache), but does not work in Minecraft B.D.S. ?

also only one of my "Microsoft Account Friends" see my server in the Friends tab (and that is technically my alternate account that can see it)

ย

no change as on 1.19.2 either

is the server port forwarded in your internet router settings

1.19.1 update

Issue still occurs

Notes of Interest

On The [Servers] Tab of the client; I've configured my Public IP/Port and when I attempt to connect; I get a Red Dot on Ping and "Unable To Connect To World"

On The [Friends] Tab of the client; I see under LAN Games and the Server I want to Connect to; I click on that and it connects fine

Note: the computer client is at my Mother-In-Law's home and the router is a Sophos Firewall setup as a VPN Client and my home is the VPN Server (Also Using Sophos Firewall), and my Minecraft Server is connected to my Home's Sophos Firewall also setup as a VPN Server.

Everything internal to my local network works, however I have friends in multiple Bedrock operating environments who would like to access my server.
I've attempted to connect to my server from their homes without success; I have also verified my firewall rule is functioning properly with other Services (on other ports)

Make sure that your Firewall is completely closed๏ผŒor you can run a MCBE on your device and try local connection
