Confirmation Status: Unconfirmed

 Description

When attempting to open the server on what seems to be older PC's a message shows that some dll files are missing. After downloading the dll's marked missing from dll-files.com, an error message pops up saying "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." For some reason, BDS-938 was marked as "Incomplete" when there was info to reproduce it as it showed the parts used and when you get the message.

Alright, so the problem was that Java was not installed, but that should really be in the 'Bedrock Server How To.html' file

Hi man, this same issue happened to me.
Download the latest Java JDK file: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/

Also make sure your Java is up to date. This should help.

luke

I had problems starting the server, I don't remember what it was, I did install Microsoft.NET Framework problem is gone.

Try to do this if it hasn't been done.

Yes, affects 1.18.12 too

Hi

Does this issue still occur after updating to 1.18.10?

Yes, I have. I am now trying a newer system as well with an Intel i7-3960X CPU. My guess is the RAM as it is DDR3 and with all the systems so far with this issue have DDR3 or DDR2

Hi

Have you tried updating to 1.18.2? If no, can you try to check if it fixed your issue?

Yes it is x64

Comment by Maciej Piornik [ 23/Dec/21 ]

Hi

Can you verify if you are running 64 bit version of Windows? One of reasons for this error is attempting to run 64 bit software on 32 bit Windows.

This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.
