The description says it all. When I run the BDS 1.7.0.13 on my existing server, I receive the following error message: "The procedure entry point GetCurrentPackageFamilyName could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNAL32.dll" The error did not occur with BDS 1.6.1.0, nor does it occur if I run it on a Windows 10 x64 machine. |

Hi Vernon, I would assume you got this sorted but Windows 7 support ended in 1.7.0.13 which was the cause of your issue. Ionic Could a mod please close this issue.

I am also having this issue with my server that runs Windows 7. I hope they change this so it can be run on Windows 7 machines since my server runs a lot of stuff and would be a huge task to upgrade to Windows 10 and ensure all my services still work.

Mojang then should post system requirements on their page...

I am also reporting this error appears on Windows server 2008 R2.

Patrick Kim - interesting. I wonder if that's intentional (likely so) and, if so - why was it usable on Windows 7 x64? I really don't want to have to install Win10 on the server. No aversion to the OS, but for a machine that's just going to be a small box hosting the Minecraft server - it really doesn't need Win10.

SupremeMortal - yeah, 1.7.0.13 wasn't available in the Affected Version dropdown when I created the bug, I noted this in the Environment section.

You appear to have selected the wrong affect version. Should be 1.7.0.13.

Same here. I googled arround and find out that the function is supported from windows 8 and later. I was running 1.6 on win 7 64 too.
