 Description

managed to bring two tamed parrots in the nether, but after a few seconds, one of them caught fire and burned to death. I was in a 2 block high tunnel, but the parrot war on fire and indicated by the death message to have died from burning. As I began to walk back in the other direction, the same happened to the parrot on the other shoulder. There were also no dripping particles that would indicate there being lava above the ceiling block, so it seems to have been the nether/netherrack itself that caused this

Or push the parrots into a minecart and then through a portal.

It is still not fixed. This also happened to me. Try walking in an area that is not 2 x 2.
