After several months with no issue, BDS unexpectedly quit. On rebooting the server, bedrock_server.exe is missing. Downloaded and extracted fresh ZIP file. Copied world files into new folder. On launch, bedrock_server.exe gets as far as 'loading' the level, crashes, and bedrock_server.exe is missing. Downloaded and extracted fresh ZIP file. Launched vanilla BDS. On launch, bedrock_server.exe gets as far as 'loading' the level, crashes, and bedrock_server.exe is missing. Downloaded and extracted fresh ZIP file on second PC. Launched vanilla BDS. On launch, bedrock_server.exe gets as far as 'loading' the level, crashes, and bedrock_server.exe is missing. Update: I unzipped a copy of BDS 1.16.101.01. The server runs perfectly fine. Obviously none of the clients (XBox One, Windows 10) can connect to it as it is out of date. |

I disabled Avast Anti-Virus, and the server loads and runs perfectly. Aside from adding an exception for Avast, the issue appears to be resolved. |
