 Description

After several months with no issue, BDS unexpectedly quit. On rebooting the server, bedrock_server.exe is missing.

Downloaded and extracted fresh ZIP file. Copied world files into new folder. On launch, bedrock_server.exe gets as far as 'loading' the level, crashes, and bedrock_server.exe is missing.

Downloaded and extracted fresh ZIP file. Launched vanilla BDS. On launch, bedrock_server.exe gets as far as 'loading' the level, crashes, and bedrock_server.exe is missing.

Downloaded and extracted fresh ZIP file on second PC. Launched vanilla BDS. On launch, bedrock_server.exe gets as far as 'loading' the level, crashes, and bedrock_server.exe is missing.

Update: I unzipped a copy of BDS 1.16.101.01. The server runs perfectly fine. Obviously none of the clients (XBox One, Windows 10) can connect to it as it is out of date.

Thanks for letting us know.

I disabled Avast Anti-Virus, and the server loads and runs perfectly.

Aside from adding an exception for Avast, the issue appears to be resolved.
