I run windows 10 edition. My pc is fully updated but when asking my friend about it, he told me on his xbox one bedrock version, he could see it as well. |

So I've been working on this server world for a while now, and I've really been trying to figure a workaround for this on my own but I just can't seem to. From what I've managed to gather, something about creating a full surface of barrier blocks creates rendering issues causing certain chunks in it's view to just, not load. If the layer is incomplete however, it loads just find. Breaking the block then placing it back fixes the problem for that game session, but quitting and loading back into the map will make it reappear. Leaving just one space open seems to do the trick but if you place a barrier one spot below or above to prevent player falling, same issue. I even tried using a setup of command blocks to fill-destroy the barriers than fill-keep them again and no dice, not even for that game session :/ In case I haven't described it clear enough, I have a few screenshots that illustrate the problem better. It's not game-breaking but it is an inconvenience that would be nice to see fixed at some point so I don't have to have workarounds like you see. |
