Some update for the dev.
My server had a worldspawn set in an area full of NPC and animals. I also had two additional ticking zone set.
I proceed to remove the ticking zones and move the worldspawn to an empty area.
As soon as I did that the CPU dropped below 10%
Now in my current base I have a chicken coop with about a hundred chicken in it (100 chicken. In a 2x3 area). As long as I'm this area the CPU will raise up again to 100%
So I killed all the chicken and now the CPU drops back to a normal rate ( < 10% )
I hope it helps fixing the issue, I guess I'll gonna have to eat fish instead of chicken until then.
One final thing, I realized that the server seems to be single threading, don't know if it was the case before, but is there a way to multi thread ? It could be a way to lessen the impact of this issue.
Have a nice day |

I have the same issue with chickens. My BDS process is at 100% of the CPU all the time. It's really bothersome |
