When trying to create a server on Ubuntu 20.04, I run the bedrock_server through terminal, and I get an error of " Error reading file: server.properties". It then crashes. I have tried changing the permissions of the directory and files to read/write and executable by everyone, and it still does not work. When I downloaded the server files it came it a zip called bedrock-server-1.16.101.01. I see I cannot select this version when submitting this bug. I did click the "Ubuntu server software" download. |

Have you unzipped the entire folder? Generally issues like this are caused by people assuming that Bedrock and Java servers are functionally identical (in this case, that you only need the executable). You need to make sure the entire contents of the server download (the zip) are extracted. |
