 Description

I've been noticing that when the lightning strikes in my dedicated server world if you move around (do a 360 or something), you will notice the sound of the thunder disappears as you turn and returns once you are at your original rotation.

It makes the thunder sound less realistic because or this.

Thank you for your report!

Leo is correct in that, a sound bug is going to be client side and needs to go in the Minecraft project for the bug tracker. Apologies it took so long to get you such a dissapointing answer and I hope you found a solution

This seems to be intended as the way the sound works is stereo sound, so if something is to left of you making sounds, it will come out of your left speaker, things to the right come out of your right speaker, and things in front or behind you come from both speakers. This would also be a client issue, not a server issue.
