 Description

I cannot connect to a server hosted on the same computer as my client. On other devices it shows on the friends tab, on the same computer it does not. Adding as external server fails to connect. I have added the loopback exception as per the documentation.

Actually running version 1.16.100.4 but that wasn't an option.

Is this still an issue in the latest version (1.17.11)? If so, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter).
This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.

I'm sure, I've attached a screenshot of the completed loopback command. I've also attached a screenshot of the friends screen showing the server is not listed, which is where I can see it from other devices on the LAN. There is a screenshot of the Server screen showing the server with a 1ms ping and green online indicator. Finally a screenshot of the error I get.

I also tried the following command in PowerShell which again reports "OK" but doesn't enable the connection to work.

I am not able to reproduce this on my own device unless I remove the loopback exception.

Are you sure you have added the loopback exception?
