I've been experiencing an odd issue with texture packs on my realm ever since Vanilla BD Craft received an update on August 28th 2020. The texture pack update contained the nether update textures and a fix to the pigmen glitch with HD textures. Offline, everything works fine as expected. However, my realm is a different story. When loading into the world it forces me, and my realm-mates, to download the old edition of the texture pack (inference from the download total being less than the updated total) and runs it instead of the new version. I've taken pictures of how the game is trying to run two copies of a UI texture pack and the block texture pack.
In regards to attempted troubleshooting:
- I have cleared app data no less than 3 times by going into uninstall a program and then clearing app data
- deleted cached texture packs (which is where these old versions go), using settings, storage, and then deleting them
- uninstalled the entire game and then reinstalled it
- replaced the realm world with a new one (multiple times and with/without texture packs associated)
- tested another HD texture pack (Pure BD Craft) and am still experiencing the same issues.
- Tested another brand new world with Vanilla BD Craft and Pure BD Craft and experienced the same issue
This only occurs on my realm.
Bug one shows the old version being applied, without the nether update textures,
Bug two shows that both are somehow active in the realm config at the same time
Working Example Offline just shows it works on non realm worlds
Bug three shows how the realm prompts me to download the old version of the texture pack
Bug four shows what the realm looks like when I refuse to download the pack (bug one is if you accept said download)
