Recently, I decided to research some datapacks that could improve my friend's survival experience. I found some interesting ones, most of which don't significantly change the game functionality too much, except for one (Asphodel Meadows). Beforehand, my friends and I were playing on a creative world for about a month and a half, we changed worlds a few times, with a few datapacks installed. This did not cause any major lag, although there were the occasional typical lag spikes. After researching some datapacks for about 14 hours, I decided the world was ready for testing. I gave it a shot in my Singleplayer world, no lag was present and everything seemed to be functioning properly. (Please remember to keep in mind that the realm had no lag issue prior to switching worlds), once I uploaded the survival world to the realm, it began to have issues straight from the start. Initially, I believed the cause of the lag was the amount of datapacks the realm had to withstand, however, the lag was not present when it was about 1-2 players online in the realm. Any number above that, the realm began to lag severely. This ranged from block breaking/placing, entity stuttering, delayed hits, etc. I've had at least 7 players on our creative world at a time, with several datapacks, and yet, there was no issue to be found. I am unsure of what exactly is causing this lag, and how to resolve it. I though it was due to the datapacks, but after disabling ALL of them as a test with several players online, the lag was still there, even after waiting around 30 minutes with all of the datapacks disabled. Is this issue common among realms? I'm also wondering if there's some datapack that optimizes heavy lag like this.
If anybody is curious on what exactly I have installed into this realm, these are the datapacks as follows:
Extended Blast Furnace
Mob Health Bar
