Update: Now I have one composter and like 6 farmers, all able to trade somehow. there's one other composter way to far away for them to detect it and that's it. Also the issue that that this post is supposedly a duplicate of is NOT the same issue.

I have been apart of two different realms, made by different people, that were made after 1.20. Realms that were made before that update had no issues with villagers, but since that update villagers are essentially unusable. Somehow they are pathfinding to workstations they shouldn't be able to, and taking them from the intended villager. I have used the same setup for trading halls that I have always used without issue, but I figured maybe it was still a me problem. When I went online and found out its impossible for them to path find outside of a room fully enclosed in full blocks,(I used stone and deepslate bricks to enclose them completely) I was annoyed cause doing one at a time like that would be tedious, but doable. Except somehow they're still pathfinding to workstations enclosed in solid blocks. So not only are things not working the way they used to, which would already be extremely aggravating, but they entirely broken. Even moving them from the breeder to the trading hall one at a time, closing them in, and only then placing the bed and workstation didn't work. Villagers from the breeder still somehow path find to it, and we made sure that there were no other jobs anywhere in the vicinity. I even tried giving the villagers in the breeder job stations to hopefully stop them from connecting to the ones in the trading hall, but the ones in the trading hall just ended up taking them instead. On the more recently created realm we have most of our villagers holed up while i build their houses, except for two librarians with lecterns in a house some 50 blocks away. One librarian is attached to the lectern fine, the other one looks like a librarian, but you cant trade with it because a villager from the other area has attached to its lectern. I've never had any issues with this kind of stuff before, and villagers can already be annoying to move around and work with, this makes it completely impossible, and makes all the time and hard work for nothing.

So now on both of these realms trading is extremely difficult, if not impossible. Apparently people have been having issues with villagers, mostly them connecting to beds, since November 2023. One realm we just got to setting up villagers in the last month or so and the other was created a week ago, so we only just noticed this huge issue. Please fix villagers. They're a huge part of the game and its so much harder to advance without being able to use them.
