I was in my survival world getting potions ready for some nether projects and then I tried to brew a splash potion of fire resistance just to find out that they didn't go back into the brewing stand.
I tested with 8 min. jump boost and night vision, as well as level 2 strength and instant health and they all worked
I also tested with base time fire resistance and they worked just fine
