I Downloaded a shader from MCPEDL (via online website), which has a size of 0.07 MB. When I apply the texture pack to make it active, the "check mark" symbol will not appear, and it will not work in any worlds I play in. However, with other larger files, such as the Pattern Texture pack (via Minecraft Store), which exceeds 17 MB, the check mark appears immediately and the pack works in-game normally.

In the image below, the circled symbol will remain there, to show that the verification is loading, and this lasts for at least 20 minutes, but possibly longer (I've only tested it for 20 minutes, and after that duration, the loading bars still appear).

When I leave the "Edit World > Global Resources" screen from outside the world, while having the texture pack applied with the verification still loading, then reenter the same screen, the check mark will appear beside the shader.

However, knowing that the check mark appeared, I went into the world, and the shader did not work.

I am completely unaware if this is an issue with the pack or the game, but the pack worked in my world upon my its initial use, then it stopped working after that. This verifies that the pack is actually functional - it had the file extension: mcpack.
