Xbox
I am unable to load any existing or create any new worlds on locally. The game crashes while "Generating World" and newly created worlds do appear in my world list on restart with a size of 0.01kb.
I have no add-ons installed and have this issue when loading or creating any world, even a new world with all the default settings.
Things I have tried to resolve this:
- Restart the game
- Restart the console
- Delete local & cloud app data
- Delete all existing worlds
- Reinstall the game
- Clear console cache
Other possibly relevant information:
- I am playing on an Xbox One X
- Minecraft is installed on an external ssd connected via usb3 port
- I am using an Elite controller (v1) but do not have any unusual button mapping
- I used a game pass subscription to download Minecraft.
- The subscription is valid through June 2022
- I regularly play on a realm and this issue has not affected my ability to play on that realm.
- I tried out some random servers listed in the menu and they seemed to work fine as well.
