Repeaters changing the way redstone dust interacts with other redstone component

      So I discovered this bug a bit over a year ago, so it has stayed in the game through multiple versions. It has hard to explain but repeaters seemingly change the way redstone interacts with other components. Basically here you can see the exact same redstone layouts, but one has a repeater directly after the button. This causes the redstone signal to not travel through a solid block. I've tested it multiple times on both my custom PC as well as my Android 7 phone and it seems to act like this consistently. Perhaps it would be easier to understand if you see it.
