The same problem with the inhabitants, in my sandy village the inhabitants disappear, after breeding almost immediately all but 1-2 inhabitants disappear. Also, quite recently, I again took the disappeared fox home, I took it in a boat, then I saved the world, being in a boat, in the water. When I entered the game again, there was no fox or boat.
