The Jurassic World DLC is fun, but it's got a lot of issues right now that make playing it very...difficult.
The first and most glaring issue is performance on the Xbox: It lags horribly on the Xbox One even with reduced video settings. The only thing I can assume is the cause for this lag is the dinosaurs themselves, which seems like a pretty big issue if the dinosaurs the world starts out with already cause performance problems and you're expected to create more.
Amongst the problems caused by the lag:
-Inability to use vehicles for travel, at least without severely reduced speed and, in the case of the helicopter, unresponsiveness when attempting to ascend or descend.
-Inability to eat food. The character will hold up the food to eat, play the animation and the sounds, though the latter only play about once a second exactly seven times before going back to how it was, with food not eaten and the hunger bar not filling. This issue began to occur after placing some new dinosaurs in a "high traffic" area in the Downtown section, specifically placing a small pack of six compies in an empty, prebuilt pen near the Gentle Giants exhibit, and placing a Placidusaur and three Fascino Nathus in an Aquarium made at Quickbuild B. With the two forever baby Triceratops this only makes twelve animals in the immediate area, but they're causing lag enough to make the game unplayable.
-Inability to load or fire crossbow. As the crossbow is integral to the subduing and transportation of the dinosaurs, being unable to use it would be gamebreaking if placing eggs in the enclosures directly weren't also possible. This began occurring at the same time as the above issue with being unable to eat.
-AI becoming unresponsive or struggling to move, animations glitching out. Nothing much to say with this one, the people and animals just start to act pretty weird.
Then there are the issues I've encountered that are not related to performance to my knowledge.
-Hot air balloons do not appear above area of disaster. They appeared in my first save (where the performance issues were still extremely prominent) but in this second save they do not. I at first assumed it was my use of the helicopter preventing it. But the problem persisted without use of the helicopter, so it appears to be an actual game issue.
-Killing all saboteurs does not resolve saboteur disaster. Twice I had a saboteur disaster occur in my current save and both times the disaster did not resolve once all the saboteurs were killed. I examined the entirety of the areas which they were spawned in for stragglers, but there simply were none left. I had to end up closing the park because they were unresolvable.
These are all the issues I've encountered currently. Hopefully these can be looked into and resolved quickly.
